A 2014 Gross GAZ 102 single shaft shredder. Single shaft shredders use a slow-turning rotor and a hydraulic pusher to break down bulky, awkward plastic such as purgings, lumps, pipe, crates and thick-walled mouldings, producing a size that a granulator or wash line can then handle. The large flared hopper makes it easy to load by hand or from a tipping bin, and pneumatic discharge carries the shredded material away from the machine.
We run balers, granulators and shredders on our own site at Wymeswold, near Loughborough, so we can talk you through how a machine like this would suit your material and throughput.
