1. Capacity – SCFM vs Nm³/h

The RTO is designed to operate efficiently across a wide flow range, and the official design envelope from the manufacturer is:

- 3,000 – 15,000 Nm³/h

This matches the customer’s VOC report, which shows:

- Combined extraction: 13,000–14,000 Nm³/h
- Maximum recorded: 15,000 Nm³/h

The unit will not be oversized for their process and will maintain autothermicity depending on solvent load.

2. Chamber Design

The RTO is a 3‑chamber ROxiTHERM system, as confirmed in the original 2018 LTB quotation.

This means:

- No buffer tank required
- No plenum required
- Stable emissions during valve switching
- No need for simulated 3‑chamber operation

The system also includes a hot‑gas bypass, which was fully upgraded in 2019.

3. Ceramic Media & Thermal Efficiency

The unit uses high‑efficiency honeycomb ceramic blocks, consistent with Dürr/LTB specifications.

Thermal efficiency is approximately 95%, which is typical for this model.

The ceramic beds were inspected and partially rebuilt in 2024.
