O cortador de milho modelo SC-120 proporciona a máxima recuperação do produto, alto rendimento, baixa manutenção e remoção automática de milho da espiga em alta velocidade. Cada orelha é colocada na alimentação através da cadeia, ponta final primeiro. A corrente inoxidável move a espiga de milho para os rolos de alimentação. Dois conjuntos de rolos de ração revestem a espiga de milho com a cabeça do cortador e movem a espiga para dentro das facas de corte. As facas de corte são automaticamente abertas para corte pelo sistema de medição do rolo de alimentação. Os grãos caem através da cabeça e são descarregados para um transportador de takeaway. Um spray de água é direcionado para a área de milho cuto-off para minimizar o acúmulo de amido.
